Do you have a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 sitting in your drawer just begging to be set free? Yes? Are you also curious about the world of PCIe HATs available for the Raspberry Pi 5? Let us blow your minds with the Pineboards Modulo4 Compute Module Carrier Board!
The Modulo4 carrier board allows you to turn your Compute Module 4 (or similar CM4-compatible modules) into a Raspberry Pi 5 with an identical layout. PCIe HATs? Yep! Pi 5 PWM fan connector? Yep! Wait, does that mean you can use the Pi 5’s Active Cooler? YEP! We even threw in the power button. It’s compatible with your existing Raspberry Pi 5 case and accessories.
We’ve made the Pineboards Modulo4 the ultimate carrier board for those of you who want to join in the fun whilst re-using existing hardware.
Note: Due to space limitations, there is no PoE header on the Modulo 4. Some connectors are also in different positions, but still compatible with the official Raspberry Pi accessories! PCIe speeds will also be dependent on what the compute module provides.
