We're delighted to announce that Bret Weber, the creative genius behind bret.dk, is joining the Pineboards family! Bret brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective that perfectly aligns with our mission to revolutionize the way we interact with technology.
Bret has been playing around with a variety of Linux distributions since 2006 when he was 14 and looking to try and run game servers with a friend. Fast forward to 18 years later, Bret has worked in various technical support roles, and continues now as a system administrator!
He bought his first Raspberry Pi in early 2013, and it still runs today as his Pi-Hole server, keeping his network that little bit cleaner. Since then, he has gone on to obtain close to 70 Single Board computers and has spent considerable time benchmarking and reviewing boards to understand what alternatives are out there and which ones are worth using. With the Raspberry Pi suffering from considerable supply issues at times, more and more people have been interested in the subject, and that's why Bret has tested a whole host of alternative brands to help us all make smarter purchases going forward.
Bret will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that helps our users get the most out of Pineboards. From in-depth tutorials to thought-provoking blog posts, Bret will ensure that our community has access to the resources they need to succeed. On top of that he will also work on our documentation and new products with us.
Bret will also be our point of contact on X (formerly Twitter), where he'll be sharing exciting updates, answering questions, and fostering a vibrant community of Pineboards enthusiasts. Be sure to follow us on X (@Pineboards) to stay in the loop!
We're excited to have Bret on board, and we can't wait to see the incredible things he'll accomplish with Pineboards. Stay tuned for more updates, and welcome to the team, Bret!
